Description

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable NDIS Senior Support Worker SIL’s Program to join our team, on a part time basis.

 

As part of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting staff in assisting clients to develop skills by role modelling delivery of supports in accordance with individual support plans, maximise their independence, escalating training or other resourcing needs as required to ensure optimal client outcomes. This position will be a combination of administration and floor shifts.

You will be a great fit if you have:

  • Certificate IV or above in Disability or Community Services or similar level
  • Driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • Current Working with Children’s and NDIS workers checks (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current First aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong understanding of NDIS Practice Standards and SIL operational requirements.
  • High-level communication, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to mentor and support staff while maintaining accountability.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Calm, confident decision making in routine and unexpected situations.
  • Commitment to participant rights, dignity, and person-centered practice.
  • Shift-based work including mornings, evenings, weekends, sleepovers, and public holidays and allocation for administration tasks
