Kindy+ Bus Driver

We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Casual Bus Driver to join our community, supporting our Kindy+ program, excursions and creche activities.

About the Role

As our Kindy+ Bus Driver, you’ll be responsible for safely transporting preschool-aged children and educators between our centres and our incursion learning hub, excursions and afternoon creche activities.

You’ll play an important role in ensuring every journey is safe, calm and enjoyable.

Key responsibilities include:

• Safely transporting children and educators on scheduled trips
• Conducting pre-trip vehicle safety checks
• Adhering to all road rules and child safety regulations
• Maintaining a calm, attentive and responsible presence
• Supporting educators to ensure smooth transitions on and off the bus

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A valid LR (Light Rigid Licence)
• Transport for NSW Bus Driver Authority
• A current Working With Children Check
• Experience driving buses, ideally transporting children
• Strong reliability and punctuality
• Clear and confident communication skills
• Knowledge of emergency procedures and ability to respond appropriately
• A strong commitment to child safety and duty of care

Availability

This is a casual position, with increased demand expected during peak periods from August to December.
