About the Role:
- Prepare and cook nutritious meals and snacks for our children, following our set menu and catering to dietary requirements.
- Maintain a safe, hygienic, and organised kitchen environment in line with food safety standards.
- Cater to a variety of dietary, allergy, and cultural food needs with care and creativity.
- Manage food ordering, stock rotation, and storage to minimise waste and maximise freshness.
- This is a Part-time, Monday – Friday role, 25 hours total per week.

- You take pride in preparing fresh, nutritious meals while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
- You enjoy being pat of a team, sharing a laugh, and holding great conversations with your colleagues.
- You bring a positive attitude every day – showing up with a smile and seeing the glass half full.
- You thrive in a lively environment and don’t mind the sound of little voices and laughter from the playground.
Requirements:
- Recognised qualification in Cookery/Hospitality/Chef highly regarded
- Current Food Handling Certificate
- Current food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- Current Working With Children Check
- Knowledge of safe hygiene practices
- Experience working as a cook in a childcare centre will be highly regarded
