Our projects involve working alongside leading contractors on complex infrastructure and industrial facilities, where reliability, safety, and operational performance are critical.

Working from our Sydney CBD office, this role will require regular site attendance, including commissioning activities, stakeholder engagement, inspections, and system performance assessments to meet client and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, program, test, commission, and support PLC and SCADA systems for utility, infrastructure, and industrial applications.
  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver automation and control system projects through all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and review functional specifications, control philosophies, requirements documentation, and detailed design deliverables.
  • Analyse operational processes, plant performance, equipment utilisation, and system requirements to develop effective automation solutions that improve efficiency, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, civil, and process engineers, contractors, and clients to define project requirements and resolve technical challenges.
  • Develop test procedures, commissioning plans, factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), and operational handover documentation.
  • Assist in determining equipment requirements, system architecture, network design, instrumentation integration, and plant control strategies.
  • Coordinate commissioning activities, contractor interfaces, and the delivery of automation-related equipment and services.
  • Establish and maintain engineering, quality, testing, commissioning, and maintenance standards in accordance with industry best practice, client requirements, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and performance reviews to ensure systems operate reliably and continue to meet operational objectives.
  • Support asset lifecycle management activities, including system upgrades, modifications, maintenance planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of new automation solutions, plant enhancements, and infrastructure renewal projects.
