The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Systems Manager to support the delivery, governance and continuous improvement of health and safety systems, programs and platforms across the business.
Reporting to the Workplace Health & Safety Manager, this role ensures robust systems, reporting and compliance frameworks are in place to support safe, efficient and compliant operations. The role also supports Chain of Responsibility, injury management, auditing and ISO certification requirements.
This is a full-time onsite role based in our corporate office in Essendon, with ad-hoc travel out to our operational sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive continuous improvement, safety governance and system effectiveness across the business
- Lead and maintain Health & Safety systems, platforms and reporting tools
- Support ISO 45001 compliance, audits and continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor safety performance, data quality and compliance reporting
- Support Chain of Responsibility and injury management processes
- Conduct audits, inspections and support corrective actions
- Support safety programs including legal monitoring, health monitoring and D&A programs
- Lead and support a small team, including performance management and development
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Health & Safety
- Lead Auditor in ISO 45001 (essential)
- Strong experience in safety systems, compliance or governance roles
- Experience in heavy industry, construction, logistics or manufacturing environments
- Strong understanding of auditing, reporting and safety management systems
