Restoration Technician

Summary:

As a Restoration Technician, you will play a crucial role in the building and construction industry by restoring properties affected by water, fire, or mould damage. Based in Sydney South, New South Wales, this permanent full-time position requires a dedicated professional who can work effectively in a team and independently. Your expertise will contribute to the timely and efficient restoration of properties, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate damage to properties and determine appropriate restoration methods.
• Perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification processes.
• Carry out fire and smoke damage restoration, including cleaning and deodorising affected areas.
• Implement mould remediation procedures to ensure a safe environment.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and addressing concerns.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Restoration Technician or in a similar role within the building and construction industry.
• Strong understanding of restoration techniques and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications in restoration or related fields are advantageous.
• A valid driver’s licence and the ability to travel to various job sites.
