Darwin

As our Operations Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of Relationships Australia NT across multiple office locations. Working closely with staff, contractors, and external service providers, you’ll coordinate operational activities that keep the organisation functioning efficiently and safely.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll be the go-to person helping ensure our offices, technology, fleet, and operational systems run smoothly, enabling our teams to focus on delivering quality services to the Northern Territory community.

What you will be doing

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing first-level ICT support and coordinating more complex issues with our Managed Service Provider.
  • Supporting Microsoft 365, SharePoint and business systems to help staff work effectively.
  • Coordinating onboarding and offboarding, equipment setup and ICT asset management.
  • Managing facilities maintenance, property repairs, office equipment and contractor coordination.
  • Coordinating our vehicle fleet, including servicing, registrations, maintenance and compliance.
  • Supporting workplace safety, security systems, access control, fire safety and incident reporting.
  • Maintaining operational records, registers and documentation.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and the way we work.

What you will bring

We’re looking for someone who enjoys being organised, practical and solution focused. You’ll have strong communication skills and be confident building positive relationships across all levels of the organisation.

  • Experience in corporate services, operations, facilities, ICT support or a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience providing first-level ICT support.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Office applications.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently while collaborating with a supportive team.
  • A Certificate III or higher in Information Technology (or equivalent experience or industry certifications).
