REFOCUS is seeking a Regional Manager to lead service delivery across a designated region, ensuring culturally safe,
high-quality outcomes for children, families, and communities.
About the role
As a Regional Manager, you will:
- Lead regional service operations in alignment with REFOCUS’s strategic goals
- Provide leadership and direction to ensure culturally safe, high-quality service delivery
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with community, government, and stakeholders
- Oversee performance, reporting, and continuous improvement across programs
- Support workforce development, supervision, and team capability
- Ensure compliance with funding agreements, legislation, and organisational standards
Pay and conditions
Permanent part-time position (4 days)
SCHCADS Level 8 (based on experience and
capability)
Classification level and pay rate are assessed and determined based on qualifications, experience, and demonstrated capability.
What we’re looking for
- Strong leadership experience within human services
- Commitment to cultural safety and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
- Experience managing teams across multiple programs or locations
- Strong organisational, financial, and risk management skills
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities
Qualifications and experience
Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Community Services, Management or related field
Extensive experience (8+ years) in child safety or relevant sector
Knowledge of Queensland legislation and child safety frameworks
Additional requirements
- Current Working with Children Check
- Criminal history check
- Ability to meet REFOCUS compliance and reporting requirements
- Current Drivers Licence
- Ability to work within the 10 Child Safe Standards
