Description

The role:

We are seeking a Community Fundraising Officer to deliver exceptional experiences for Redkite’s community fundraisers, to inspire them to run their own fundraising activities for Redkite in the DIY fundraising program and participating in campaigns and third-party events.

The role will steward all new and existing community fundraisers; from acquisition and registration to fundraising support and post event communications.

Supporting fundraisers may include:

  • developing online fundraising pages,
  • issuing authority to fundraise,
  • developing dedicated materials,
  • providing tips and guidance in regular check ins,
  • thanking and following up on donations,
  • seeking prizes to support key fundraisers.

About you:

You are a proactive, confident and highly motivated individual with a passion for fundraising and events. You demonstrate the following skills & experience:

  • Two years’ experience in a relationship, client engagement role, or customer service role
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders of all levels
  • Ability to work autonomously and as a collaborative team member of a high performing team
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise own workload, meet deadlines and work to strict timeframes
  • An understanding of and use of a CRM database.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident to undertake public speaking and ability to adjust to presenting in formal and informal settings.
  • Proactive, highly motivated and results driven.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to represent Redkite at external events including occasional weekends, evenings and travel (local and interstate).
  • You must have the right to live and work in Australia (unconditional work rights) to apply for this job.
