Maintenance & Engineering Manager
From Pit to Plant – Lead the Assets Behind Every Ounce
Ravenswood Gold is seeking an experienced Maintenance & Engineering Manager to take full accountability for all maintenance and engineering functions across one of Queensland’s largest gold mining operations.
Reporting to the General Manager Operations, you will lead the strategy, performance and reliability of our mobile fleet, processing plant, infrastructure, and electrical systems while developing a high-performing maintenance team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading all maintenance and engineering activities across the operation
- Developing and governing the Asset Management Plan and framework (AMP)
- Delivering safe, reliable and compliant asset performance
- Driving reliability improvement and asset optimisation initiatives
- Managing shutdowns, rebuilds and major maintenance programs
- Overseeing maintenance planning, scheduling and execution
- Developing high-performing maintenance and engineering teams
- Managing contractor and OEM relationships
- Delivering performance against budget, reliability and production targets

About You
You are a proven maintenance leader with experience in mining, resources or heavy industry and a track record of improving reliability, leading teams and delivering results.
You’ll bring:
- Extensive experience in maintenance, engineering or asset management leadership within mining, resources or heavy industry
- Strong leadership experience across fixed plant and mobile maintenance environments
- Proven success developing and executing asset management strategies
- Experience leading large multidisciplinary teams
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and capital programs
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and contractor management skills
- A demonstrated commitment to safety leadership and operational excellence
Highly Regarded:
- Engineering, Asset Management or Trade qualifications
- Open-cut mining experience
- Gold processing experience
- Reliability engineering and defect elimination experience
- Experience with CMMS systems, preferably Pronto.
