QuestCare is welcoming a wonderful new client to our service, and we are looking for dedicated, engaging, and fluent AUSLAN-communicating Disability Support Workers to join their core support team.

At QuestCare, we believe that clear, barrier-free communication is the foundation of independence, dignity, and safety. This role goes beyond standard daily support; it is about building a meaningful relationship, fostering true community connection, and empowering our client to achieve their NDIS goals using their preferred language.

About the role

This position is focused on community-based, person-centred care within the Canberra region. You will be working directly with our new client in their home and out in the community to support their daily lifestyle.

Your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Providing high-quality daily living support, community access, and companionship.
  • Using fluent AUSLAN to facilitate seamless communication, social inclusion, and active community participation.
  • Assisting with meal preparation, domestic tasks, and transportation to appointments or social outings.
  • Maintaining safe, respectful environments and accurately logging shift outcomes.
