Description

We are seeking a highly organized and friendly individual to join us as a Medical Receptionist for our practice in Neutral Bay. As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a vital role in ensuring their experience is positive and efficient. Your responsibilities will include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, managing phone calls, maintaining patient records, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced medical environment.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Experience as a Medical Receptionist and/or basic knowledge of medical terminology is preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients warmly upon arrival and ensure they feel comfortable throughout their visit
  • Schedule appointments accurately, manage busy phones and inquiries appropriately
  • Management of patient records
  • Financial management – accounts collection and arrears
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of reception area and practice, include stock control management
  • Collaborate with medical staff and/or other team members regarding any changes in appointment schedules or urgent patient needs
  • Manage incoming/outgoing mail efficiently including sorting correspondence/documents
