As Project Officer (DA), you will support the delivery of delegated authority initiatives across Queensland, working alongside community-controlled organisations and sector partners to build capability, strengthen practice, and support culturally responsive service delivery.

What you’ll do

  • Drive delegated authority projects that deliver real impact.
  • Support and strengthen delegated authority services across Queensland.
  • Lead forums and networks that connect and empower community-controlled services.
  • Help embed quality systems, tools and practices that improve outcomes.
  • Prepare clear project updates, reports and key documentation.
  • Provide sharp advice and practical recommendations on emerging issues and opportunities.
  • Contribute to better outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families

Mandatory requirements

  • Relevant experience and/or qualifications.
  • Current Queensland Blue Card, or ability to obtain one.
  • Current Queensland Driver Licence.
  • Ability and willingness to travel across Queensland and interstate as required.
