About the Opportunity

Are you passionate about making an impact while working in a dynamic and supportive team? Join Puntukurnu Aboriginal Medical Services (PAMS) as a Contract Performance Officer.

As a key member of our Quality Assurance team, you’ll report directly to the Quality Assurance Manager and be accountable to the Director of Corporate Services. Your role will include overseeing contract performance by tracking KPIs, ensuring accurate reporting, and maintaining data integrity. Supports compliance, identifies risks, and works with teams to improve service delivery and health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and report on contract KPIs across all programs
  • Maintain accurate data systems, tracking tools, and dashboards
  • Ensure timely, high-quality reporting to funding bodies
  • Identify performance risks and support compliance requirements
  • Coordinate with program, clinical, finance, and leadership teams
  • Improve data quality, reporting processes, and continuous improvement initiatives

About You

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to draft correspondence, edit documents and write instructional information;
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with clients and external visitors, managers and staff at all levels and present a professional image;
  • Advanced computer literacy skills and competent is Microsoft Office Suite
  • Good time management skills with the ability to effectively plan, organize and coordinate own workload;
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples

The position involves working with a multicultural organisation where the majority of staff, clients and stakeholders identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. Candidates must be able to demonstrate an understanding of the issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

About the Organization

With an administrative hub based in Newman, in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, The Puntukurnu Aboriginal Medical Service (PAMS) provides holistic primary health care to the individuals and families within the remote communities of Jigalong, Parnngurr, Punmu and Kunawarritji. PAMS aims to improve the standard of health of the Martu people and all Aboriginal people living in the East Pilbara region of Western Australia through the provision of community based, comprehensive primary health care services. We exist to promote the health and well-being of individual community members and to relieve sickness and the suffering of the indigenous community as a whole. We are passionate about providing the highest standard of patient care whilst incorporating a holistic approach toward diagnosis and management of illness.
