About the Role

PSM Upstream Solutions is seeking motivated Workshop Technicians to support preservation, storage, maintenance, inspection, testing, and refurbishment activities across workshop and industrial equipment.

We welcome applications from all technician levels, from entry-level candidates with a practical mindset to experienced technicians looking for their next opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preservation, inspection, testing, maintenance, refurbishment, cleaning, and preparation of equipment, components, tools, and accessories.
  • Support daily workshop activities, including equipment handling, storage, organisation, and general maintenance.
  • Follow work instructions, safety procedures, quality requirements, and client specifications.
  • Complete maintenance records, inspection reports, checklists, and documentation.
  • Identify and report defects, damaged equipment, safety concerns, or quality issues.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop.
  • Use workshop tools, lifting equipment, and testing equipment according to training and competency.

Requirements

  • Previous workshop, trade, maintenance, mechanical, industrial, warehousing, or hands-on experience is desirable.
  • Entry-level candidates with a positive attitude and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and safety requirements.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills for records and documentation.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks in a workshop environment.
  • Valid Class C driver’s licence desirable.
  • Forklift licence desirable but not essential.
  • Valid work visa or Australian work rights required for this position.
