YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Take ownership of their own HSE behaviour and assessments.
  • Work to and support the PSM culture of respect and collaboration.
  • Preparing detailed structural documentation, drawings, 3D CAD models, and design plans for subsea engineering assets and specialised heavy-duty transport crates, ensuring all sketches and documentation align with engineering specifications.
  • Assisting senior Structural Engineers by preparing technical documentation, design specifications, and material tabulations required for the fabrication, maintenance, and safe warehouse storage of structural subsea equipment.
  • Calculating material requirements, estimating quantities for structural projects (including wood and steel elements for asset support), and checking that selected materials comply with strict subsea industry standards and contract provisions.
  • Liaising closely with project managers and the warehouse operations team to interpret engineering instructions, overseeing the physical execution of structural designs, and ensuring the safe handling of subsea assets.
  • Conducting onsite structural inspections of completed transport crates and subsea storage setups, gathering field data to verify structural integrity, and preparing technical reports to present findings back to the engineering team.
  • Assist Project Engineers and Technical Managers with technical problem-solving; engineering change implementation; and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor their work progress and flag technical risks or time overruns related to draft scope.
