What you will be doing
We are seeking a Greek-speaking Rostering Services Officer to join our Brokered Services Team. This role is responsible for managing daily and weekly rosters, allocating shifts, and ensuring services are delivered efficiently to clients. You will be the central hub for rostering communications, liaising with staff, clients, and carers to support seamless service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain daily and weekly rosters, allocating shifts based on staff
availability, skills, and client needs
- Update rosters promptly to reflect changes such as cancellations or new services
- Communicate roster updates clearly to staff and liaise with Case Managers regarding client
schedules
- Ensure roster compliance with Award conditions and organizational policies
- Maintain accurate records in rostering systems and support reporting requirements
- Build positive relationships with staff, clients, and other stakeholders
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Fluency in Greek and English, both written and verbal
- Experience or understanding of the needs of Greek elderly, carers, and people with
disability
- Strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet competing deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and experience with databases; knowledge of
Visual Care desirable
- Effective interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
Other requirements:
- Current driver license and access to own vehicle.
- Police check at the required intervals and working with children check.
- Not subject to any Employee Screening or Banning Orders under relevant state or federal legislation (e.g., Worker Screening Act 2020 (Vic)).
