The Role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager – Mining to drive growth across key mining accounts, develop strong client relationships, and identify new business opportunities. Working closely with the Commercial & Strategy Manager and internal teams, you will deliver customer-focused solutions and contribute to the company’s ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive business development and identify new opportunities across key mining accounts in WA, NT, QLD and PNG.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Maintenance, Reliability and Asset Management stakeholders through regular site visits and client engagement.
  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, executing strategic sales plans and tailored win strategies to secure new business.
  • Lead commercial pursuits from initial engagement through to contract award, working closely with technical and operational teams.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and support sales forecasting.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences and networking functions to strengthen market presence and industry relationships.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven success in business development, account management or commercial sales within the mining industry.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to build and maintain lasting client relationships.
  • Background in engineering, industrial services or project delivery environments highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging at all levels.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with proficiency in CRM systems and the ability to represent the company at industry events.
