Property Watch Co-Ordinator / Security

Summary:

The Property Watch Co-ordinator ensures the safety and security of designated sites through active patrols, surveillance monitoring, incident response, and administrative tasks. Working within a 24-hour rotating shift structure across seven days, this role is essential in maintaining site integrity and supporting team operations. 

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol retail properties to ensure safety and security.
• Respond to security incidents and emergencies in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular inspections of premises to identify potential security risks.
• Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services as required.
• Maintain accurate records of security incidents and activities.
• Implement and enforce security policies and procedures.
• Assist in training staff on security awareness and emergency protocols.
• Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving security measures.

Qualifications:

• Current or studying a certificate II in Security Operations
• Proven experience in a security role, preferably within the automotive sector.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with security systems and technology.
• First Aid and CPR certification is an advantage.
