Accounts Receivable Officer

Summary:

Our unique automotive brand is seeking an experienced, motivated and commercially savvy Accounts Receivable Officer to join our growing accounts team. Key responsibilities

• Manage daily banking, allocations, receipting and invoicing activities
• Drive collection strategies while maintaining strong customer relationships
• Monitor aged receivables and implement initiatives to improve cashflow outcomes
• Collaborate with internal departments to investigate discrepancies
• Produce AR reporting, reconciliations and insights to support business decision-making
• Review and enhance existing processes to improve efficiency and workflow outcomes
• Maintain compliance with company policies, financial controls and procedures
• Customer query resolution
• Handling escalated issues
• Maintain compliance with company policies, financial controls and procedures

Key Personal Attributes:

• Previous experience in a Credit and/or Accounts Receivable Officer position
• Demonstrated ability to confidently work autonomously as well as in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong reconciliation, negotiation and debt collection skills.
• High attention to detail, strong problem-solving capability and a can-do positive attitude
