Who we are

Established in 1994, Pilbara Meta Maya Regional Aboriginal Corporation (PMMRAC) is a not-for-profit organisation which delivers essential services (power, water and municipal) and community services (environmental health, housing and accommodation facilities) to remote Aboriginal communities across the Pilbara, Gascoyne, and Mid-West regions of Western Australia.

About the Role

This is a fast paced and varied role supporting FIFO Operations Teams across essential Water or Power services. No two days are the same—you’ll play an integral role coordinating people, systems, and information to keep critical services running.

You’ll bring your strong organisational skills to support Supervisors, Superintendents, Engineers, and Service and Project crews, ensuring smooth communication and continuity across alternating rosters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support using ESAMS, SimPro and SAP, including job creation, invoicing, reporting, and records management
  • Support smooth transitions between FIFO teams and monitor tasks and progress
  • Coordinate travel, rosters, logistics, meetings, and schedules
  • Act as a key communication link between field teams, contractors, communities, and the Perth office
  • Support dashboards, performance data, and reporting
  • Identify and implement improvements to administrative processes
  • Act as a central contact for SimPro and ESAMS system support and training

About You

  • Qualification in Business Administration or similar
  • C Class Driver’s Licence
  • Senior administrative experience and advanced MS Office skills
  • Experience managing calendars, travel, rosters, and logistics
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience with data collation and reporting
  • Willingness to travel to remote locations and support occasional after-hours communication
  • Experience supporting FIFO or remote teams
