As Digital Experience & Website Manager, you’ll shape the member experience across PSA’s website, working in close partnership with IT to deliver a high‑quality digital experience.
About the role
The Digital Experience & Website Manager is accountable for the strategy, design, content, and performance of PSA’s website and digital experience, ensuring it delivers clear value to members and supports engagement, advocacy, and growth.
This role combines hands‑on ownership of the website with leadership of user experience, content governance, and continuous improvement. You will lead the member experience perspective on website redevelopment and ongoing optimisation, working in close partnership with IT, who provide the technical platform, hosting, and security expertise.
The website is a critical channel for:
- Member engagement and retention
- Communicating benefits, services, and value
- Supporting advocacy, education, and events
- Enabling membership growth and self‑service
Key Responsibilities
Digital Experience & Member‑Centred Design
- Own and continuously improve the end‑to‑end digital experience for members and prospective members
- Ensure the website clearly articulates member value, benefits, and pathways
- Maintain intuitive information architecture, navigation, and page structures
- Champion accessibility, inclusion, and plain‑language content across all digital touchpoints
- Use analytics, insights, and user feedback to drive improvements in engagement and usability.
Website Management & Content Governance
- Act as the primary business owner of the website and CMS
- Establish and maintain content standards, workflows, and publishing governance
- Coordinate content creation, review, migration, and quality assurance
- Train and support internal stakeholders in writing for the web and member‑focused content
- Ensure content remains current, accurate, accessible, and aligned to organisational priorities
Collaboration & Project Coordination
- Serve as the key point of contact between business stakeholders and IT
- Develop briefs, design requirements, and acceptance criteria
- Coordinate delivery activities from a member experience and business perspective
- Support testing, launch, and post‑implementation optimisation
Continuous Improvement & Best Practice
- Monitor digital performance and recommend enhancements to improve member outcomes
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through digital solutions
- Embed sustainable digital and content practices across the organisation
About you
- Proven experience in digital experience, website management, UX, or content strategy.
- Experience leading or managing website redevelopments or major enhancements.
- Strong understanding of user‑centred and member‑centric design principles.
- Experience managing CMS platforms and content governance.
- Ability to work effectively with IT and technical delivery teams.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Desirable
- Experience in a not‑for‑profit, membership, advocacy, or community‑based organisation.
- Formal training in UX, service design, digital design, or content strategy.
- Experience conducting usability testing and member research.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design.
