About Us

Now is an incredibly exciting time to join the Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation. The Foundation is an iconic West Australian charity with a proud history spanning more than 100 years, and with one single beneficiary, the Perth Children’s Hospital, we are dedicated to ensuring our sick children continue to receive the world class healthcare they deserve.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Marketing to join our team and play a key role in supporting the Foundation’s Fundraising efforts.  This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a bold vision for children’s health in WA, working alongside a dynamic and purpose-driven team.

About the role

The Head of Marketing is a senior leadership role responsible for stewarding the Foundation’s entire marketing system to drive sustainable revenue growth, uplift brand health, and strengthen the organisation’s reputation and impact across Western Australia and beyond.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the role reports to the Chief Executive Officer and serves as a strategic adviser to the Executive. The Head of Marketing partners closely with all Department Heads to ensure marketing is integrated across organisational strategy and operations, enabling aligned planning, insight driven decision making, and cohesive delivery.

The role ensures Marketing is understood and valued across the Foundation, building organisational literacy on how marketing drives both long term brand equity and short-term organisational outcomes. Working collaboratively with stakeholders, the Head of Marketing embeds a unified, evidence based, and future focused marketing function that supports the Foundation’s mission and amplifies its impact.

The role will undertake a variety of tasks, including:

  • Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing Marketing team with a culture of clarity, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Translate insights, data and market intelligence into strategic opportunities that guide organisational decision‑making.
  • Manage brand strategy, brand governance, and brand health management to ensure the Foundation stands out in a competitive WA philanthropic market.
  • Oversee Marketing’s role in driving, nurturing, and converting new donor leads across priority B2B (corporate, HNW, philanthropy, community organisations) and B2C (direct donors) segments.
  • Design and optimise a future‑fit, efficient marketing operating model that enables scalability and agility.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to the Executive and work closely with all Department Heads to ensure marketing is fully integrated across organisational operations.
  • Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring effective prioritisation, cost‑efficiency, and ROI across activities.
