The Role

As a Rostering Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for coordinating daily rosters across our community services, ensuring participants receive quality support while maintaining operational efficiency.

You’ll work closely with participants, support workers, clinicians, and internal teams to coordinate services, respond to changing priorities, and ensure a positive experience for everyone involved. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to staff absences, emergencies, and unexpected changes. Create, manage, and optimise rosters in line with business needs, client care plans, and award/EBA requirements
  • Communicate and inform employees of schedules and roster changes clearly to employees and clinicians
  • Confirm upcoming appointments with participants and coordinate service delivery
  • Liaise with providers to advise of availability and maintain positive working relationships
  • Maintain databases, track deadlines, and ensure accurate record-keeping
  • Report and document safety incidents and hazards in line with regulatory obligations
  • Update management regularly and accurately record key operational information 

About You

You’ll ideally bring:

  • Previous experience in rostering, scheduling, workforce planning, or service coordination.
  • Experience within healthcare, disability, aged care, NDIS, or community services.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Experience using rostering or care management systems.
  • A positive, proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement.
