The Role
The Modification Team Lead role is responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations of Ace Renovation Group’s building, renovation, and maintenance services across the residential, commercial, and NDIS sectors. This role is pivotal in coordinating site teams, managing contractor performance, ensuring high standards of quality and compliance, and driving project outcomes that exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspire, motivate, and align the team in delivering to the highest levels of service.
- Actively demonstrate a ‘leader as coach’ mindset, building capacity and capability within the team.
- Be a proactive team player to be focused on continued support and improvement.
- Oversee all building and maintenance operations including repairs, renovations, modifications, budgeting, project delivery and resource planning.
- Plan, schedule, and oversee maintenance and home modification projects from inception
to completion.
- Identify new business opportunities within current markets and through new client
acquisition.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth
project execution.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of work completed by the team.
- Develop and manage budgets for projects and operational functions.
About You
- Proven experience in building, construction, or property maintenance management
- Demonstrated leadership, team management, and communication skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and compliance frameworks
- A trade qualification or relevant experience in construction/maintenance (preferred)
- Comfortable in fast-paced, regulated, or changing environments
- Proactive and committed to continuous improvement
- The right to work unrestricted in Australia
- A valid driver’s licence
