Financial Accountant

Fixed Term 3-month contract opportunity

Pegasus Media and Logistics is an Australian privately owned company located at Blacktown. We offer our clients high quality and environmentally sustainable products and a large variety of printing services including commercial offset printing, point of purchase displays, campaign management, digital printing, self-adhesive labels, warehousing, inventory management and national distribution.

About The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, we are looking for a temporary full-time Financial Accountant to work within a highly co-operative and supportive finance team. 

You will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following tasks:

• Complete month end reporting
• Daily Cash flow forecasting
• Financial Reconciliations
• Labour costing and reporting
• Complete other Ad hoc tasks within the Finance team as required

About You

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have the following:

• Degree qualified
• At least 3 years commercial experience
• Proficient using Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level
• Demonstrated analytical skills to interpret and comprehend financial and non-financial data.
• Have a strong attention to detail, accuracy and planning skills to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to maintain a high degree of integrity and honesty.
