Due to continued business growth and a secured pipeline of large-scale projects, we are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead procurement and supply chain operations across the business.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to senior leadership, the Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing procurement strategy, supplier engagement and purchasing operations across multiple projects.
This role requires strong commercial discipline, supply chain experience and the ability to work closely with project teams to ensure materials, plant and services are delivered in line with programme and cost requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Procurement & Supply Chain Management
- Lead procurement activities across multiple projects including materials, plant and services
- Develop procurement strategies aligned with project programmes and commercial objectives
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and reliable delivery
Supplier & Subcontractor Management
- Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors
- Evaluate supplier performance and ensure consistency in quality and delivery
- Identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency and reliability
Commercial & Cost Control
- Support project teams with procurement planning and cost management
- Ensure procurement aligns with project budgets and commercial targets
- Monitor market conditions and pricing trends to inform procurement decisions
Systems & Process Management
- Ensure procurement processes are structured, consistent and followed across the business
- Maintain accurate procurement records, purchase orders and documentation
- Support continuous improvement of procurement systems and processes
ABOUT YOU
- Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management within construction
- Experience working on formwork, reinforced concrete or major building projects preferred
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage procurement across multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Proficient in Excel and procurement / financial systems
- Degree qualified in Construction, Engineering, Supply Chain or similar preferred
- Australian work rights
