This role is not for someone who wants to manage a training
calendar. It is for someone who wants to build something.
Parkerville Children and Youth Care is looking for a senior
Learning and Development Manager to lead our professional learning function
within our Centre of Excellence – designing and delivering learning that
genuinely changes practice across an organisation of 250+-plus staff serving
children, young people, and families impacted by trauma and adversity.
The scope is broad: a whole-of-organisation professional
learning calendar, leadership forums, our annual staff conference, training
architecture for our licensed practice models, and a longer-term contribution
to establishing a Registered Training Organisation. You will manage a small
team, hold a budget, think commercially, and contribute to organisational
strategy as a genuine member of our Centre of Excellence collective leadership
team.
We are looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree, a
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, and demonstrated senior leadership
experience in human services or a related sector. Someone intellectually
curious – about adult learning, about our people, about emerging technology,
about what is possible. Someone who collaborates by instinct and understands
that in a trauma-informed organisation, professional learning is itself a
relational practice.
This is a full-time role based in Burswood but with responsibilities at all Parkerville sites.
What we offer:
-
SCHADS Schedule B Level and Pay Point – 7.1 7.3 $63.31 – $65.77
- A professional and supportive work environment
- EAP Service with Wellness resources
- Salary Packaging of up to $15,900
