Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Senior Estimator to join our manufacturing team in Burleigh Heads, Queensland. We produce high quality industrial hoses, piping systems, fittings and couplings as well as lined pipes for some of the biggest industrial sectors in Australia.

Our clients include Tier 1 organisations, and our solutions serve a broad range of industries. Our products are applied across sectors such as oil and gas, mining, commercial plumbing, defence, aerospace, water treatment, chemical processing, and aviation.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accuracy of quotations as well as best price, stock availability and deadlines.
  • Provide technical information and other support for quotations as directed.
  • Price and Coordinate submission of tenders in consultation with Business Development Managers.
  • Provide intelligence and feedback from quotation follow ups and inform Business Development Managers.
  • Customer enquiries are answered promptly and account management practices followed.
  • Promote sales of PHF products to all customers or potential customers.
  • Maintain and build customer relationships.
  • Ensure regular updating of client and customer database

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience in the hose industry or an associated industry (Highly desirable)
  • Certificate III or Certificate IV in Business or Customer Contact (Highly desirable)
  • Experience within a self-managed sales team or an administration environment
  • Highly developed customer contact relationship building skills
  • Proven experience in phone, internet, email sales
  • Strong Computer Skills
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • Ability to use a sales and stock management computer systems
