About the role
We are looking for reliable and motivated Process Workers to join our team in West Wyalong with immediate starts available.
As a Process Worker, you will be involved in a variety of duties across our processing operation. Depending on the area you are assigned to, responsibilities may include:
• Stacking cartons on pallets
• Wrapping pallets
• Pick and pack of eggs into cartons
• Loading cartons of eggs onto conveyor belts
• Operating processing equipment
• General cleaning and housekeeping duties
• Handling by-product and waste materials
• Working independently and as part of a team
• Manual handling and repetitive tasks
• Standing, bending and remaining active throughout your shift
• Operating manual vehicles and equipment around site
• Reversing and manoeuvring trailers as required
• Assisting with forklift operations where required
No two days are exactly the same, so we’re looking for flexible team members who are willing to learn different areas of the operation and help wherever required.
Role Details
Rotating roster, 4 to 5 shifts per week.
• AM shift – 7.00am to 3.15pm
• PM shift – 3.00pm to 10.30pm
• Must have availability to work seven days a week and have the flexibility to work beyond your shift if required.
Location: West Wyalong, NSW
Salary: Ranging from $30.35 to $31.61 depending on experience. There will be additional penalty rates paid for PM shift and weekend work.
About you
You are reliable, hardworking and take pride in producing quality work. You enjoy hands-on roles, can work safely with minimal supervision when required, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
You are adaptable, self-motivated and willing to take ownership of your work, whether working independently or as part of a team.
Requirements
• Previous experience in a processing, manufacturing, agricultural or labouring environment is highly regarded.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable performing physical work including lifting, bending and repetitive tasks.
• Current Australian Manual Driver’s Licence (essential).
• Confidence operating manual vehicles and reversing trailers.
• Forklift Licence highly regarded.
• Reliable transport to and from work.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and company procedures.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
