About the role
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Carousel/Pallet Worker for casual ongoing work with an immediate start at our Macgregor ACT site.
This hands-on role plays a vital part in ensuring our egg processing operations run safely, efficiently and on time. You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment and contributing directly to getting fresh eggs onto supermarket shelves.
Carousel/Pallet Worker duties include:
- Packing cartons involving combination of material handling, product sorting and quality control
- Receive cartons, identify and separate and ensure stacked accurately
- Monitor carton condition and check for visible damage
- Maintain steady workflow as carousel operates continuously
- Keep palletised area clean, removing excess cardboard and ensuring safe access around work zone
- Removing boxes of finished product from the carousel
- Stacking and wrapping pallets
- Manual handling and lifting

Role Details
Tuesday to Friday 6.30AM – 2.30PM. This may include additional hours as production schedule may increase to Monday – Friday.

Pay rates: From $30.35 per hour
About you
Are you reliable, physically capable and comfortable working in a fast-paced processing environment? You enjoy practical work, take pride in what you do, and understand the importance of teamwork, safety and consistency. We’re seeking a dependable team member who brings a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to give their best every shift.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a processing or packing environment preferred
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks, manual handling and working on your feet
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong awareness of safety and quality standards
- Clear communication skills, both when working independently and part of a team.
- A pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol screening is required
- A current Australian driver’s licence and access to a car.
