We are seeking a dedicated Houseperson/Housekeeping Attendant to join our hospitality team in Newcastle West, NSW. This part-time contract role is essential for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests. As a Houseman, you will play a vital role in supporting our operations and enhancing the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning duties in guest rooms, hallways, and public areas to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of events and functions as required.
• Restock supplies and ensure that all areas are well-maintained and presentable.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management team promptly.
• Provide support to other team members as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• No formal education required; however, a basic understanding of cleaning procedures is preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
