ACCOUNTS OFFICER – FINANCE TEAM

MRT is continuing to grow, and as our national footprint expands, we are strengthening our Finance Team with a high-performing Accounts Officer who thrives in a fast-moving environment.

The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll be part of a hands-on team responsible for keeping the wheels turning behind the scenes of a growing national business.
This is not just data entry, this is a role where attention to detail, accountability and initiative matter.
Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Perform bank, supplier and credit card reconciliations
- Manage invoice, purchase order and financial data entry
- Maintain financial records and filing systems
- Support month-end and year-end processes
- Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve queries
- Assist with audits and compliance requirements
- Support evolving finance functions including payroll (future scope)
Do YOU possess the skills we need?
- Proven experience in Accounts, Bookkeeping or Finance Admin
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Solid understanding of financial processes
- Experience with accounting systems (NetSuite highly regarded)
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office capability
- Ability to work autonomously and hit deadlines
- Clear communication and problem-solving skills
