Parts Salesperson

Customer Service | Internal Sales | Engineering Industry

Ox Engineering is looking for a proactive and customer-focused Parts Salesperson to join our growing team in Canning Vale.

This role is responsible for managing customer parts enquiries from initial request through to quotation, order processing and fulfilment.

You’ll work closely with customers, purchasing, stores and production to ensure orders are delivered accurately and on time.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service, internal sales or sales administration experience who enjoys problem-solving, building relationships and keeping things moving.

The Role

As a Parts Salesperson, you’ll be the key point of contact for customer parts enquiries and orders.

You’ll prepare quotations, process orders and coordinate internally with purchasing, stores and production teams to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and review customer parts enquiries and requests • Prepare and issue customer quotations • Review customer purchase orders and confirm pricing and lead times • Raise and process accurate sales orders • Create work orders and purchase orders to support customer requirements • Coordinate with purchasing, stores and production teams to ensure timely fulfilment • Monitor order progress and provide customers with updates • Follow up outstanding quotations and customer enquiries • Communicate delays, shortages or changes to customers promptly • Assist with resolving supply issues, damaged goods and order discrepancies • Maintain accurate customer and order records

What We’re Looking For

• Previous customer service, internal sales, sales administration or similar experience • Strong communication and relationship-building skills • High level of accuracy and attention to detail • Good computer and administrative skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines • Professional and proactive approach to customer service • Ability to work effectively with multiple internal departments

Desirable

• Experience within engineering, manufacturing, mining, automotive or industrial industries • Experience using ERP or business management systems • Mechanical aptitude or technical product knowledge • Parts interpreting experience

• Experience with the mineral or water well industry
