Ox Engineering is seeking a trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter to join our Perth workshop. You’ll work on the build, repair and modification of mining and industrial equipment, with the opportunity to be involved in a wide variety of interesting projects.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing

• Fitting, assembling and installing custom truck bodies and mechanical components
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults
• Carrying out routine inspections and maintenance on mining support equipment
• Working closely with boilermakers, tradespeople and supervisors to deliver quality builds
• Assisting with commissioning, testing and final fit-out of bespoke equipment
• Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and safety

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Australian trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter
• Experience in heavy industry, mining, manufacturing or similar environments
• Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Reliable, safety-focused and team-oriented attitude
• Current driver’s licence and reliable transport

• Forklift ticket
• HR driver’s licence
• Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets
• Welding or boilermaker experience
• Experience with hydraulic systems or mobile plant equipment
