Storeperson | Inventory & Workshop Support
Ox Engineering is looking for a reliable and organised Storeperson to join our Canning Vale workshop.

The Role
As a Storeperson, you’ll play a key role in ensuring materials and parts are received, stored, picked and dispatched accurately to support workshop operations and customer requirements.
You will work closely with our fabrication, mechanical, purchasing and sales teams to keep materials flowing efficiently through the business.
Typical hours are approximately 45 hours per week, with additional hours available when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect and process incoming goods against purchase orders
- Complete quality and quantity checks on incoming materials
- Pick, pack and prepare parts for workshop jobs and customer orders
- Create and attach delivery documentation and consignment labels
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing freight and deliveries
- Maintain accurate inventory and stock location records
- Conduct stock takes and inventory checks
- Monitor stock levels and identify reorder requirements
- Allocate materials to work orders and production jobs
- Support workshop trades with parts and material requests
- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely
- Assist with local pickups and deliveries using company vehicles
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe stores environment
What We’re Looking For
- Previous warehouse, stores or inventory experience
- Current LF Forklift Licence (essential)
- Current WA C Class Driver’s Licence (essential)
- Good computer skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Reliable, proactive and team-focused attitude
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
Desirable
- Experience within engineering, manufacturing, mining or industrial environments
- HR Driver’s Licence
- Experience using inventory or ERP systems
