About the role
- Hybrid and fully remote working arrangements available
- Full time (part time options considered/flexible work arrangements available)
- Fixed term to June 2027 (with potential for renewal)
- $102,303 – $107,362 + 12% super + 17.5% annual leave loading + 5 additional days health/wellbeing leave
Working within the Prevention in Action directorate, the Quality and Learning Design Lead is responsible for designing, assuring and continuously improving Our Watch’s learning and capacity‑building activities. The role delivers engaging, evidence‑informed learning across digital, face‑to‑face and online formats, grounded in adult learning principles and aligned with organisational strategy. As a leader, you are committed to coaching and developing others, fostering capability, confidence and consistency in training and facilitation practice. Implementing the PIA Learning Strategy, this role strengthens learning systems, embeds evaluation and reflective practice, and works collaboratively with subject matter experts to support the national expansion of primary prevention.
About you
You are an experienced learning and quality leader with a proven ability to design and continuously improve high‑quality learning in complex, purpose‑driven environments. You bring strong expertise in instructional design, adult learning and quality improvement, and are confident delivering engaging learning across digital, face‑to‑face and blended formats. You enjoy collaborating with subject matter experts to translate complex evidence into accessible, interactive learning experiences. Known for your strong attention to detail and project management skills, you also bring knowledge and experience in the prevention of violence against women.
