Summary: Good Morning Coffee Traders is seeking a passionate and experienced Barista / Supervisor to join our team in Garbutt. This casual role is ideal for someone looking to grow within the hospitality industry while taking on leadership responsibilities. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality coffee, leading the team during service, and ensuring a welcoming and efficient café environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee beverages and drinks
• Deliver exceptional customer service and create a positive customer experience
• Supervise daily operations and support team members during busy periods
• Open and/or close the café, ensuring all procedures and checklists are completed
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation across all areas of the café
• Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and restock supplies as required
• Handle cash, reconcile tills, and ensure accurate transaction processing
• Train and mentor junior staff, promoting consistency and efficiency
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company standards

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous barista experience is essential; supervisory or leadership experience preferred
• Strong passion for coffee and hospitality
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead a team and work effectively under pressure
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
• Competent cash handling and basic mathematical skills
• Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays
