ABOUT
THE ROLE
The Settlements Operations
Officer (SOO) is responsible for executing core settlements operational
processes that support settlement readiness, funding and post-settlement
activities across the business. The role focuses on high-volume, process-driven
operational tasks that ensure settlements progress efficiently, accurately and
in line with internal policies.
Reporting to the Settlements
Operations Manager, this role plays a critical part in maintaining the
operational rhythm of the Settlements function, enabling Settlements Officers
to focus on settlement ownership, risk management and stakeholder engagement.
Your key responsibilities will
include:
- Execute core
settlements operational activities that support settlement readiness, funding
and post-settlement workflows.
- Coordinate and manage
operational processes across settlement files to ensure timely progression in
line with internal requirements.
- Support the
preparation, validation, and release of settlement-related communications and
operational outputs.
- Perform operational
checks and approvals in accordance with internal policies, procedures, and risk
controls.
- Maintain
settlement-related schedules and operational tracking to support effective
planning and delivery.
- Ensure settlement
data and records are accurately maintained across internal systems.
Non-Core Responsibilities
- Support settlement
file preparation activities to ensure operational readiness.
- Liaise with internal
stakeholders to resolve outstanding operational requirements.
- Assist with the
ongoing maintenance of operational records and registers.
- Provide general
administrative and operational support to the Settlements Team as required.
- Contribute to an
exceptional customer experience by supporting the team’s service delivery.
