About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Hybrid Service Technician to join our Service and Rental Department. In this role, you will assist with the assessment, servicing, repair, cleaning, and maintenance of a wide range of healthcare equipment. You’ll also provide technical support and excellent customer service to ensure our customers receive the best possible experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with technical and mechanical skills who is eager to learn and grow within a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and complete service repairs within set timeframes.
  • Carry out pre-installation assessments and equipment assembly.
  • Inspect, clean, and maintain rental fleet equipment upon return.
  • Diagnose and repair equipment, providing information for quotes and customer support.
  • Manage and resolve customer enquiries and technical issues in a professional manner.
  • Assist with workshop and onsite repairs as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety policies.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Technically minded
  • Comfortable using tools and following manuals/user guides.
  • A strong communicator with excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Empathetic and respectful when working with healthcare professionals, patients, and community customers.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
