We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Surgical Dental Assistant to join our Penrith team on a permanent part-time basis, working Tuesday to Saturday.

The Role
As a Surgical Dental Assistant, you’ll play an important role in supporting clinicians during surgical and dental procedures while helping ensure a seamless and positive patient experience throughout treatment.
Working closely with clinicians and the wider team, you’ll support the day-to-day clinical operations of the practice while maintaining high standards of patient care, organisation, and infection control.
Reception support duties may also form part of the role from time to time and experience within front office coordination will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting clinicians during surgical and general dental procedures
- Preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and materials prior to procedures
- Maintaining sterilisation and infection control standards
- Providing high-quality patient care and support before, during, and after treatment
- Managing accurate clinical records and documentation
- Assisting with stock management and day-to-day clinical operations
- Supporting reception and administrative tasks where required
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and professional clinical environment
- Supporting the wider team to ensure a positive patient experience

Highly Regarded
- Surgical dental assisting experience
- Reception or front office experience
- Experience within implant or surgical dentistry
- Knowledge of dental practice management software
- Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting or equivalent experience
