Description

Northfleet is one of Western Australia’s largest fleet providers, with over 20 years of experience delivering safe, efficient transport, hire and crane solutions across the state. With multiple depots and a strong reputation built on reliability and service, we continue to support a wide range of clients across WA.

We are currently seeking a Transport Admin superstar to join our busy Hazelmere depot and support the day-to-day running of our transport division.

About the Role

You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our transport team, with responsibilities including:

· Managing day-to-day operations administration for the transport division

· Accurately entering and maintaining job data in our Freight Management System (FMS)

· Assisting with job bookings across metropolitan and Pilbara depots

· Supporting pricing, quoting, and invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

· Processing driver paperwork and assisting with operational documentation

· Acting as a key point of contact for customer enquiries and account matters

· Coordinating driver onboarding, inductions, and site mobilisations

· Assisting with permit applications and renewals

· Supporting the Operations team with general client service and coordination

· Organising staff travel and accommodation

· Managing uniform orders and general administrative tasks

What You’ll Learn

· Fleet utilisation and transport scheduling

· Driver fatigue management and compliance requirements

· National load restraint regulations and compliance monitoring

· Heavy haulage operations and over-dimensional permit requirements in WA

· WA Chain of Responsibility (CoR) legislation

· Preparation of quotes, tenders, and commercial documentation

About You

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

· Previous experience in a transport, logistics, or operations administration role

· Exposure to or experience with quoting and invoicing (highly regarded)

· A strong desire to learn, grow, and develop within the business

· Knowledge of North West mine sites and regional locations (advantageous)

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Strong customer service mindset with the ability to build relationships internally and externally

· High attention to detail with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines

· Strong computer skills and experience with Transport Management Systems (TMS)

· A positive, adaptable can-do attitude suited to a fast-paced environment
