Description

Townsville GP Superclinic is seeking a Casual Medical Receptionist for our busy General Practice on Charters Towers Road, Hyde Park. Previous Healthcare industry experience preferable, however hospitality Reception/Administration or Customer Service skills suit also. Roster shifts during clinic opening hours (between 7.30am and 12.30 noon) Flexibility is required. Additional for some rotational weekends, hours between 8.30am and 7pm is also required.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • · Answering incoming calls, busy switchboard and professional emails
  • · Booking appointments on health-based software, assisting patients with enquiries and kiosk check in
  • · Meeting and greeting clientele in a friendly manner
  • · General cleaning and upkeep of practice areas, following strict infection control requirements, stock take and restocking of supplies
  • · Screening of presenting patient, in compliance with current COVID 19 protocols
  • · Liaising with Allied Health and other service providers (specialists, aged care to assist with patient care management)
  • · Willingness to learn, be directed and follow procedures
  • · Dealing with patient enquiries, delays and rescheduling, over the phone and in person, including challenging situations
  • · Filing, scanning, copying
