Case Manager

Ngarliyarndu Bindirri Aboriginal Corporation (NBAC)

Karratha, WA – Full Time

Reporting to: Family Support Team Leader

NBAC is seeking a compassionate and motivated Case Manager to support families, individuals, and community members to strengthen skills, overcome challenges, and build long-term wellbeing. This role blends direct case work, capacity-building, and community connection within a supportive and culturally safe team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain positive, trusting relationships with families and individuals.
  • Support clients to develop practical life skills at home and in the community.
  • Identify barriers and collaborate with families and stakeholders to address them.
  • Maintain accurate case notes and ensure all data is recorded as per program requirements.
  • Strengthen links between families, community groups, cultural networks, and support services.

About You

  • You genuinely care about people, value cultural respect, and can work collaboratively in a fast-paced community setting. You bring:
  • A relevant qualification OR experience in human services, community work, family support, or a related field.
  • Understanding of vulnerable children, young people, and families, including trauma, attachment, and child development.
  • Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and diverse cultural groups.
  • Ability to work as part of a supportive team and travel within the region as required.

Essential Requirements

  • Current C Class Driver’s Licence
  • National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)
  • Working With Children Check (valid and current)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (valid and current)
