About the Organisation
Nganampa Health Council (NHC) is a community-controlled
Aboriginal health organisation delivering high-quality, culturally appropriate
healthcare services across the APY Lands. We are committed to improving health

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Clinical
Systems & Information Coordinator to support the performance and
optimisation of our clinical information system, Communicare.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring data
accuracy, system efficiency, and clinical governance, while supporting
staff capability through training and system support. You’ll work closely with
clinical and administrative teams to improve workflows, enhance reporting, and
ultimately contribute to better patient care outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support
the administration, optimisation, and governance of the Communicare
system
- Maintain
high standards of data integrity, auditing, and reporting
- Coordinate
Release of Information (ROI) requests in line with policy and
legislation
- Provide
helpdesk support, troubleshooting, and user guidance to clinical staff
- Deliver
training, onboarding, and ongoing coaching to staff on system use
- Support
system improvements, workflow enhancements, and continuous improvement
initiatives
- Maintain
accurate patient data and contribute to reporting requirements
- Collaborate
with internal and external stakeholders, including clinicians and system
vendors
- Participate
in projects and occasional travel to remote communities as required.
About You
You are a proactive and adaptable professional who thrives
in a dynamic health environment. You bring strong communication skills,
attention to detail, and a passion for improving systems and service delivery.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience
administering or supporting Communicare systems
- Strong
background in health data management, reporting, and data integrity
- Excellent
organisational and time management skills
- Proven
ability to train and support staff, building capability
- Strong
analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data
- High
level of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical practice
- Ability
to work effectively in a cross-cultural environment, with respect
for Aboriginal culture.
Desirable
- Qualification
in Health Informatics, Health Management, or similar
- Experience
in remote health or Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations
- Experience
improving or implementing clinical information systems
