With new product launches, strong business growth (increasing from 110 employees in 2021 to 189 employees currently), and recently winning major tenders, it is an exciting time to join Next Payments!
We’re looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our Sales & Marketing team – someone with initiative, a strong desire to learn, and ideally a good one-liner or two up their sleeve. Whether you’re a marketing grad ready to kick-start your career, or you’ve got a few years’ experience and
want to grow, this role has your name on it.
Reporting to the Marketing Executive, you’ll get exposure across the whole business and genuine opportunities to bring your ideas to the table.
The Role
A little bit of everything, in the best way:
- Creating content – social media, EDMs, presentations, internal and external comms
- Keeping the marketing calendar alive and updated
- Running campaigns, tracking timelines, reporting on what worked (and what didn’t)
- Partnering with affiliates and partners to spot new marketing opportunities
- Working cross-functionally so marketing content lands where it needs to
- Briefing and collaborating with creative agencies
- Arming the sales team with the content they need to hit their targets
- Supporting events, trade shows, and meetings from planning through to execution
Marketing support: briefs and presentations, strategy
and segmentation input, email correspondence, EDM management, social media,
website updates, event and trade show support, ROI reporting, agency liaison,
internal and external comms drafting.
Sales support: signage requests, PowerPoint updates, sales collateral, allocating inbound leads, general sales admin.
CRM support: lead assignment and management, database upkeep, CRM reporting.
Admin support: merchandise and print ordering, internal events, and the occasional ‘other duties as required’.
About You
-
A genuinely good sense of humour (non-negotiable – we mean it!)
- A Marketing, Management, or Business-related degree – or equivalent industry experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A knack for copywriting and an eye for detail
- Comfortable creating and tweaking graphics and presentations (Canva, Illustrator, or similar a bonus)
- Solid Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Confidence turning data into decisions
- Comfortable working at pace and juggling priorities
- Previous marketing experience is a plus, not a must
You’ll also bring energy to the way you work with people – deciding and taking action, adapting when plans change, staying switched on for detail, and keeping the vibe up even when the to-do list is long.
Bonus points if you have experience with:
- Salesforce or another CRM
- Campaign Monitor, Mailchimp, or similar EDM tools
The Perks
- A genuinely fun, friendly team culture (ask anyone – we’re proud of it)
- Tea, coffee, fruit, sweets, and quarterly gourmet BBQs
- An active Social Club Committee that actually plans things people want to go to
- Free, easy parking (no $20-a-day city parking here)
- Close to public transport – 10 minutes from Cheltenham station, with the 767,
811 and 812 buses stopping right outside
- Real recognition for good work
- Flexible/hybrid working once you’re trained and settled in
