Junior Trader

Do you have an analytical mindset and strong mental arithmetic?

We are expanding and need Traders to join our fast-paced, high-performing trading teams.

Joining as a Junior Trader, you will be given bespoke training and support throughout your six-month probationary period. Upon passing probation you will become a Trader where various progression paths will be open to you.

Located in central Douglas, we operate 24/7, 365 days a year making Newfield a unique place to work!

Key Responsibilities:

• Trade execution.
• Communicating critical information.
• Accounting and reconciliation.
• Data reporting.

Role Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong mental arithmetic.
• Availability to work shift patterns including nights and weekends.
• The ability to multi-task whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Minimum 5 GCSEs with Grades between A-C including Maths.

Desirable:

• Experience working in a fast-paced, time–critical environment.
• A-Level Qualifications or equivalent with study of technical/numerical subjects preferred.
• Deductive reasoning, pattern recognition. Gaming/computer skills.

Salary and Benefits Package:

The starting salary for this position is £28,000
