Production Scheduler – Network Steel Job Ad 

 

📍 Cleveland, QLD | Relocating to Staplyton (4207) from December 2026 

Network Steel is a growing steel manufacturing and processing business servicing the domestic and residential housing industry. We are seeking an organised, proactive, and solutions-focused Production Scheduler to join our Operations team. 

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is responsible for coordinating production scheduling activities to support efficient manufacturing operations, on-time project delivery, and strong customer service outcomes. This is a fast-paced environment, so this role will suit someone who has a strong ability to multi-task, is organised and can prioritise based on operational demands. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Coordinate daily and weekly production schedules to meet manufacturing capacity, operational priorities, and customer delivery requirements  
  • Liaise and collaborate with all departments and external customers to ensure efficient workflow and communication  
  • Monitor production progress and proactively manage scheduling changes, delays, and operational impacts  
  • Maintain accurate scheduling, and production data within the PlanS ERP system and reporting tools  
  • Administrative duties including responding to a high volume of emails and coordinating production paperwork 
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining compliance with Workplace Health & Safety standards    

About You 

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: 

  • Experience in production scheduling, manufacturing coordination, operational planning, or administration within an industrial or manufacturing environment  
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines  
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills  
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving capability  
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and ERP systems  
  • Exposure to steel manufacturing, fabrication, construction, logistics, or industrial operations highly regarded  
  • Current Driver’s Licence and reliable transport preferred
