About Us

Netball WA is seeking an organised and confident Merchandise & Licensing Coordinator to join our team to provide a professional, engaging and positive merchandise experience for all West Coast Fever (WCF) and netball supporters. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-performing, purpose-driven organisation that is creating a world of possibility for WA through netball.

Primary Purpose of Position

In this role, you’ll be supporting WCF game day merchandise operations and ongoing online and instore fulfilment. The role is responsible for ensuring all merchandise activity aligns with club standards, brand guidelines, operational expectations and the Suncorp Super Netball League manual whilst ensuring supporters, members, and players receive efficient, friendly service.

Skills & Capabilities

  • Previous experience in retail, sports or event-based merchandise environment would be highly regarded
  • Warm, outgoing and confident communicator who can engage positively and professionally with customers, supporters, members, staff, and volunteers
  • Able to lift and carry merchandise boxes (approx. 5–10kg) and stand for extended periods
  • Professional presentation with the ability to represent the club positively and uphold brand and service standards
  • Confident managing cash, EFTPOS transactions and till balancing with the ability to quickly learn POS systems
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and manage tasks efficiently
  • Customer service mindset, supporting both internal and external stakeholders
  • Reliable and flexible with the ability to work game days, weekends and occasional evenings
  • Calm under pressure with the ability to adapt quickly, troubleshoot issues, and manage busy environments
  • A current WA driver’s licence and WWCC (or ability to obtain)

Hours of Work

This is a permanent role and hours of work can be negotiated between 30 hours per week (0.8 FTE) and Full-time 37.5 hours per week.  The nature of this position requires some out of hours and weekend work, including some Saturdays throughout the Suncorp Super Netball and winter netball seasons to assist with managing the team store.
