Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, we are recruiting for a permanent Junior Technician who has the desire to work within the Live Events and Broadcast industries to join our vibrant team of employees based at the Botany warehouse location in Sydney’s inner south.
This role is focused on the coordination of warehouse activities that support the planning, coordination and execution of the warehouse activities focusing on asset availability, distribution and tracking.
Essential criteria to be a successful applicant is experience in the following areas:
- Warehouse operations where technical and high-end equipment is in use such as LED screens, projectors, video switchers, media servers, portable production systems and cameras.
- Experience with inventory management systems (we use EasyJob)
- Highly organised to ensure timely management of inbound and outbound inventory
- Experience with loading and unloading vehicles and trucks with driving duties to/from sites as required
About you;
- Current Drivers licence
- Self-motivated, team player
- Willing to learn and look for leadership and guidance
- Able to demonstrate technical thinking and aptitude
- Flexible attitude towards work hours and locations given the times that events are on
Desired criteria include:
- Previous entertainment / audiovisual / TV industry experience highly regarded.
- Basic IT skills including inventory management systems.
- Completion of industry-related certificate or diploma is beneficial but not essential.
- Working experience in a warehousing operations setting including meeting the demands of a physically strenuous job.
